Badami Rabri Toast! Oh my son wanted to eat this everyday for breakfast. This became a spread for us and I won’t mind making this again just because it is so full of goodness. In Badami Rabri Toast, you can add regular sugar or the alternative I suggested depending on you. For someone who has a sweet tooth this can be one easy option.

Soaking the almonds makes it easy to use and nutritious too, creamy offcourse. If you are vegan just use almond milk instead of regular milk. You can use this Rabri just like that but I liked to add the crunch of bread with the creamy and rich Badami Rabri. You can be super creative with this base recipe of Badami Rabri and use shot classes with some rasgulla pieces to make yumsome dessert too.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Soaked Almonds
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 3-4 strands Kesar
  • 1/2 tsp Cardamon Powder
  • 2 tbsp Soaked Raisins
  • 2 Whole wheat Bread Slices
  • 1/2 tsp Pistachio
  • 1 tsp Ghee

Instructions

  1. 1

Make a fine paste of Soaked Almond and then saute it for 5 min in ghee.

  2. 2

Add milk and reduce it till it thick enough for hot , flowy rabri.

  3. 3

Mix kesar in 1 tbsp of hot milk and mix into the mixture along with cardamom powder and mix well.

  4. 4

Now make a paste of raisins and mix in the milk and give a quik mix and put of the flame. However incase you want you can add regular sugar too. But raisins are the alternative for natural and healthy sugar form. The rabri thickens as it cools down.

  5. 5

Toast a bread and then cut into small squares and put the badam rabri like a spread and garnish with pistachios.
