So today I tried another recipe from what was available in the kitchen, Kele Ka Cheela. The interesting part of this recipe is that it can be had during fasting too and this Kele Ka Cheela comes out really soft and isn’t very difficult to make. Infact you can use this for tiffin box too and kids would love the new taste.

Using raw banana not just add potassium but the groundnuts also contribute to the protein content. An idea snack for kids and even adults who are looking for tasty small portions to eat. I love how the texture can out of this recipe and now will add more plantain to me recipes and check.

So lets get to the recipe without much delay now and see how easy it is to make ‘Kele Ka Cheela’.

Ingredients

  • 2 Raw Banana
  • 1 Green Chilli
  • 2 tbsp Roasted Peanuts
  • 1/2 cup Coriander
  • 2 tbsp Yoghurt
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Cumin Powder
  • 1 tsp Oil

Instructions

  1. 1

Peel the raw banana or plantain and chop it into small pieces.

  2. 2

Put this into a mixer grinder along with chilli, salt, cumin powder, coriander, yoghurt and peanuts with some water to make a smooth paste.

  3. 3

You might have to mix it couple to times for the banana to smoothen in the mixer.

  4. 4

Now smear some oil in the pan, I have used a mini uttapam pan but any pan can be used.

  5. 5

Pour some batter and cover it and let it cook for 2 mins and then flip it over and cook from the other side.

  6. 6

Serve this with any chutney or just like that as it already will be quite flavourful.
