Here is the Soya Kebabs, which can also be called as Soya Kela Kebabs. This protein rich recipe works wonders as evening or even tiffin snacks. What’s interesting is that they can be prepared a day before and then shallow fried or air fried next day in a jiffy. So something you can take to work or pack in tiffins.

Soya Kebabs are not just tasty but are soft and can be a good finger food for little toddlers too. I personally like using these Soya Kebabs between buns to make healthy burgers with some paneer sauce and green chutney.

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp Garlic
  • 1/2 cup Onions
  • 1 cup Soya Granules Powdered
  • 1 Raw Banana
  • 1 tbsp Cumin Powder
  • 1 tsp Chat Masala
  • 1 tbsp Chopped Mint Leaves
  • 1 tsp Lemon Juice
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Red Chilli Powder
  • 1 tbsp Oil
  • 1 tsp Garam Masala

Instructions

    Boil water and soak powdered Soya into it for 5 mins and then wash it multiple times with fresh water and squeeze all the water and keep aside.

    Boil the raw banana , peel and mash it and keep aside.

    Now heat the oil and saute finely chopped garlic and then onions till they turn translucent.

    Add soaked soya and saute with some salt, cumin, red chilli , garam masala for few mins.

    Next add the mashed banana and mix it well and keep cooking on slow flame.

    Cool the mixture and transfer it in a blender and add mint leaves, lemon juice, chat masala and blend.

    Now transfer in a plate and with moist hands make small kebabs and keep in fridge for 10 mins.

    Smear oil in pan lightly and cook them on slow and serve with chutney or dip of choice.
