Strawberry Chutney is a great way of adding vitamin C in your diet , specially in winter season when market is loaded with them. However most people like making jams and sauces , but the most important nutrient which Strawberry gives is Vitamin C which on cooking seeps out.

Hence eating it raw is the best way and when you have loads of them available try making a chutney like this to change the flavour of food as well .This can be used along side dosa, paratha or any meal which needs a khatta-meetha chutney to go with.

Ingredients

  • 4 Strawberry
  • 5 Soaked Almonds
  • 1 Chilli
  • 2 tbsp Coriander Stalks
  • 2 tbsp Onion Chopped
  • 1 tsp Honey
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Olive Oil
  • 1/2 tsp Sesame Seeds

Instructions

    Heat oil and saute coriander stalks and onions for a min.

    Next take a mixer grinder and add chopped strawberries, chilli, sauted onion and coriander , salt, soaked almonds and make a paste.

    Next add some honey and mix well with a garnish of sesame seeds

    This can be had with dosa, paratha, kababs or anywhere you want khatti - meethi chutney as a combination.
