Here is Strawberry Oats Rajgira Bites which makes this winter season even more perfect. Try these cute little bites of goodness and relish the sweet and tangy taste which they make together.

For me the color was the most appealing thing before I loved the taste. Specially the Oats and Rajgira mix tastes like some desi mithai :) thanks to the touch of desi ghee. Infact you can replace strawberry with even bluberries, however I find former more seasonal and cost effective. Another way is use dark chocolates and as they would melt, will give another level of taste to the whole recipe. Since in crumbles, which this recipe is basically, it should have another layer of oats, but that would have not allowed the pink color to come up so strong. I hence avoided too much mixture as a third layer here.

You can also top it up with some mixed nuts and choco chips, I however kept it simple. Oh Ya! try this with some vanilla icecream and love me more :) The addition of Rajgira pops gives more substance to the bite we have and offcourse adds nutrition content too. While Oats is now in every household, Rajgira still needs a place..so go ahead and get it guys and make this tasty recipe of these yummy Strawberry Oats Rajgira Bites.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Oats
  • 1/4 cup Rajgira Pops
  • 2 tbsp Ghee
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Essence
  • 1/2 tsp Baking Soda
  • 1/2 cup Jaggery
  • 1 tsp Sugar
  • 1/2 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 10 Strawberries (Sliced)
  • 1/4 cup Milk

Instructions

    Make coarse powder of Oats, salt and baking soda and add it in a bowl with Rajgira pops,Jaggery, Warm Ghee, Cinnamon .

    With your fingers mix ghee gently and then add milk so all of it comes together.

    Grease the baking tin and put the oven on preheat mode.

    Now take the oats mixture and press in into the baking tray to make even layer. Keep 2 tbsp of oats mix for later use.

    Put the oats mix to bake for 15 mins on 180 degrees.

    Meanwhile in a pan slightly cook the strawberry slices with sugar so they get coated with sugar. Do not over do this part.

    After 15 mins take out the baking tin and spread the strawberry slices over the oats.

    Cover it with rest of the oats mixture and then again bake it at 180 degrees for 10 mins.

    Let it rest in the over for 10 mins and then take it out and let it cool down completely.

    Cut into cubes and serve with some grated chocolates on top if required.
